The first step is to connect to the database on your PC
Before you log in to Primavera Click on Edit Database Configuration
Second Step to Choose the Database
Here you will find all the databases that you have, It Consists of all your projects, Layouts, and EPS
Third Step to Add New Database
Once you click on Add this window will show up
You Should Choose the “ P6 Professional Standalone ( SQLite )” and then find the connection string which means the address or the location of the Database and Name it as you want.
Fourth Step Import the Database
Once you choose the “ P6 Professional Standalone ( SQLite )”
You can name the Database at “ Database Alias “
Then Choose “ Add Connection to an existing standalone Database ”
Last step Click on “Next”
Once you click on Next, you will be able to choose the Location of the Exported Database
Fifth Step Choose the Database Location
Click on the 3 dots below the Database location and It will open the Desktop Files then Choose the data you want.
Choose Which Database you want and click on open
The last step to import the Database
Once you choose the location and click on save
After Saving all the previous steps, Before logging in click on “ Advanced “ and On Database Choose the Imported Database “ Old Projects”; Once you open it, you will find all of your data Exported from your pervious PC
